Just like any high-end consignment resale store, we have professional buyers who carefully evaluate each gently used maternity clothing item to determine its overall condition and quality. Anything with excessive signs of wear doesn’t even make it to our site - which means that you can shop for pre-owned maternity clothes with total confidence!

How do we determine the condition of pre-owned maternity clothes? 

We use the following guide to grade the overall condition and quality of every gently-used maternity clothing piece we receive. To see an item's condition head over to the item's listing page and you'll see the condition noted in the description. Below is a guide to our maternity items for resale:

 

• New with tags: The maternity clothing item is brand-new, unused, and unworn that still has the original tags attached. 

• New without tags:The maternity clothing item is brand-new, unused, and unworn that does not have original tags attached. 

• New with defects: The maternity clothing item is brand-new, unused, and unworn. Possible cosmetic imperfections range from natural color variations to hanging threads or missing buttons that occasionally occur during the manufacturing or delivery process. The maternity clothing item may contain irregular or mismarked size tags. The item may be missing the original tag. New factory seconds and/or new irregular items may fall under this category. The original tags may or may not be attached. 

• Like New – Used Condition: A maternity clothing item that has no signs of wear-and-tear, and appears to have remained untouched, though tags may be missing. The maternity clothing item may have been worn once or twice, the color of the garment is vibrant, and there are no rips, stains, pilling, or tears.

• Excellent Used Condition: A maternity clothing item that has no signs of wear-and-tear, but has been previously worn or used a few times, has beautiful colors,  no rips, stains, tears, and very little to no pilling with no signs of wear and tear or defect.  

• Gently Used Condition: A maternity clothing item that is in very good condition, may have been worn a few times and may show signs of limited use. The maternity clothing item has no markings or damage but may have some faint signs of wear.

• Used Pre-owned/ Pre-Loved:  A maternity clothing item that may have been previously worn multiple times, may show signs of regular use or shows wear-and-tear, perhaps with slightly faded colors, and some minor pilling that does not affect wear, but is still in very good used condition.
